The Pottery Shed Swinfen was set up at Heart of the Country Village, near Lichfield, in June 2025 by owner Tamara Skipworth.

Customers can paint pottery, create baby hand and footprints or attend workshops and parties in a relaxed, café setting.

There are ready-to-paint ceramics to suit all ages and abilities. Two hour painting timeslots are standard so there is no rush to complete that masterpiece.

Workshops vary seasonally but include options for children, adults and date nights to keep the grown-ups entertained.

The Pottery Shed is also available for hen parties, baby showers, team building sessions or birthday celebrations with optional afternoon tea packages.

The Pottery Shed Swinfen has entered the Start-up Business of the Year and Small Business of the Year categories of University of Staffordshire Business Awards.
