Small Business of the Year entrant – Aggi Beauty Salon
Beauty therapist Agnieszka Pacerowska has trained in medical permanent make-up so that she can support breast cancer survivors with nipple tattoos.
She already offers services including skin boosters, semi-permanent make-up, lash extensions and body waxing from her business, Aggi Beauty Salon, in Brunswick Street, Hanley.
“I have done an extra course in medical permanent make-up so that I can start to offer this service,” she said. “I felt that I could do something more to help people feel beautiful in the comfort of my cosy beauty salon.
“I want to help and support people with cancer so that everyone who comes to me can leave with a smile and joy. It’s a great feeling to see a smile and happiness and hope for a more beautiful new day.”
Agnieszka has been running her own beauty business for six years, initially working from home and then renting a room in a salon. She opened her own premises in November 2024.
She added: “Step by step I am gaining new skills and developing my business. My big dream has come true in Stoke-on-Trent.”
Agnieszka has entered Aggi Beauty Salon into the Small Business of the Year category of University of Staffordshire Business Awards.
